ABOUT OUR HERD SIRES:

SANSA

SANSA is a light fawn (LFZ) herdsire who will begin his third breeding season in October.  His sire ”Elever” is the 1998 AOBA “Get of Sire” champion.   Sansa has inherited his  sire’s fine fiber characteristics as well as his laid-back  personality.  Sansa has extremely fine dense fiber.   His

2001 fiber histogram at age 4-1/2 and after his 5th shearing is as follows:

Avg. Fiber Diameter:         21.4 microns
Standard Deviation:            5.1
Coefficient of Variation:    23.6
% over 30 microns              5.7

Sansa is a very genteel fellow with the girls and he, like Elever, is passing on his wonderful fiber and personality traits to his offspring.  His first cria “STF Valentino”, also a beautiful fawn, was sold at 3 months old.  His new owners plan to use him as their herdsire of the future.

We are now offering outside breedings to Sansa at a special introductory price of $1,000.

Included is 90 days free boarding for mom and her cria; blood progesterone test at 28 days to detect pregnancy; and an ultra-sound test at 90 days to confirm pregnancy.  We will also provide basic halter training (if desired) to any cria accompanying mom to Singletree Farm for breeding.  You will also receive weekly updates from us on how your pacas are enjoying their vacation, complete with pictures.  By the time they return to you, your mom will have a well-established pregnancy, and your baby will be socialized and mannerly….ready to start training for the show circuit.

AZA BANDITO

BANDITO is a ½ Peruvian Accoyo male with light fawn fleece down to the tips of his toes.  He will be three yrs old in November and is very anxious to get started in his career.  His Sire is  “ACCOYO MACUSANI”, a white Peruvian herd sire from Northwest Alpacas.  We will be breeding our black female (Midnight) to Bandito at the end of October.  Since he does not have any crias yet, we cannot predict what color his babies might be, but with his strong accoyo genetics on his father’s side and the color from his red Chilean mom, we are confident that what ever color he produces, they are sure to have his beautiful presence and fiber.  If you are interested in adding some accoyo genetics to your herd, consider Bandito.

His introductory breeding fee is $500, which includes all vet conducted blood & ultra-sound testing, plus 90 days free board for your female.
